Preparing yourself for movie casting calls can be a very stressful experience. One of the best things that you can do to calm yourself is to make sure you have a proper monologue prepared. You are going to sell yourself with that monologue so it is very important that you pick something that you are comfortable with. When picking a monologue make sure that you pick one that has meaning to you. If you pick one that does not interest you than it is going to be very difficult for you to memory it for your casting call. It is also important to pick one that you are going to be able to act upon meaning you can show emotion. Who ever is critiquing you is going to want to make sure that you are able to show emotion. All in all pick a memorable monologue that you can remember.
